Jeruk Buah Anggur-duit seringgit

In my family facebook"keluarga Pak Majid", I mentioned about jeruk buah anggur being brought by my grand to visit us especially when in sick bay. jeruk anggur ini ialah jeruk dalam tin macam jeruk nanas, longan etc yang ada dipasaran sekarang. I hardly see jeuk anggur dalam tin these days. Surely it was imported then (in the 70's). Yes, it really cure...sikologinya. But may some truth it the food. Anggur is known scientifically for high antioxidants capacity. yes this compound is good for health.

Tapi, with today's jeruk anggur, I don't recommend anyone to eat, especially if it from Siam. High artificial colour, saccharin. Totally no no as health food although can be appetizer sometimes. This jeruk can be found in jeruk stalls be it in shopping complexs or in small stalls in wet markets.

jeruk anggur dalam tin remind us adik-beradik to my grandmother "Chek". But above all it is the tradition that need to be continue, the tradisi dan adat melayu, membawa buah tangan bila berkunjung ke rumah orang dan menziarah orang sakit.

Our arwah grandfather, 'Ki" as how we called him, had another practice that he taught us to follow, giving money away or giving what you love most....It is the higher deed of a person. He will no matter who you are, give RM1.00 during on Hari Raya sebagai duit berkat. never fail to give us money (5-10 sen in the 70's) when we visited him or met him on the road and brought goodies to us all even just 1 piece of biscuit or candy. His name is Abdul Rahman (Aji Mang) and his actions live up to the name given....garang tetapi sangat penyayang.

Al-Fatihah to arwah Aki and Chek
