It has been a while since my last posting. It was because I was busy with Serai Wangi Extraction Project back in Terengganu. I got excited when I was invited to evaluate the potential of the project by my client. I ve closed deals and to move to next level.
BUT talking about citronella oil is exciting. Cymbopogon nardus (ceylon) and C. winteratus (java) are the common species. The leaves contain citronella oil. How to push and collect this precious oil from the leaves?....It's all about engineering. Chemical eng that is.
